Heller For Senate

Heller For Senate hired SOAPBOX to serve as digital director for the campaign — overseeing all online strategy. The Nevada U.S. Senate race was expected to be one of the closest races in the 2012 election, so our team placed a heavy emphasis on voter persuasion through the campaign, including:

• Building a highly interactive website for the campaign, ensuring that the site content was focused on persuading voters
• Creating a Spanish-language section of the website that introduced Senator Heller to Nevada’s large Latino population
• Conceiving and executing a voter comparison section of the website, known as The Difference, that compared the candidates on key issues
• Raising more than $1 million online
• Leveraging a cloud-based platform to manage the campaign’s data through a customized CRM instance
• Planning and executing a six-figure digital media plan
• Coordinating online communications, and managing the campaign’s list building, email copywriting, and online fundraising program
• Planning and managing strategic social media content for Facebook and Twitter — resulting in a more engaged social community than our opponent
• Our efforts played a key role in helping Senator Heller win re-election to the U.S. Senate.

Workers’ Rights Coalition

The Workers’ Rights Coalition tapped SOAPBOX to plan and execute the digital portion of their public affairs campaign highlighting the abuses of Culinary Workers Union Local 226.

In order to overcome the challenges of communicating to many union members whose first language is Spanish, our team built highly-interactive websites and created entertaining, educational videos in both English and Spanish to ensure we engaged their target audience in their preferred language.

We also planned and executed a successful digital media campaign aimed at filling the gaps of a traditional- and mail-focused plan.

Linda McMahon For Senate

Businesswoman Linda McMahon’s campaign team asked SOAPBOX to serve as the Digital Director for the campaign, leading data strategy and technical operations as well as the most sophisticated digital operation of the cycle. Our team planned and executed a $3 million tech and digital campaign, including:

• Building an advanced, highly-interactive website and an innovative, online grassroots activism platform (where supporters could make calls from home, create walk lists, and win prizes for completing GOTV and voter identification activities)
• Creating and executing a $1+ million digital media plan
• Leveraging a cloud-based CRM platform to integrate every component of the digital and offline campaign, providing real-time reporting and unparalleled political intelligence
• Utilizing data for targeted communications and relationship management as opposed to taking a “shotgun” approach
